As for trashcondor being shocked, prepare to be shocked. This item was DQ&#039;d for the reasons stated, including that it was posted on a blog. The fact that they may subsequently be made public isn&#039;t relevant (its also not accurate--the 32 winners will be made public, the other submissions can be discussed on the site after round 1 if the original author chooses to post them and request feedback, otherwise they remain anonymous). The important point is that items must be confidential and anonymous. It is the best way to preserve fair and unbiased judging (we dont want to know who you are, we just judge the item) and it prevents claims that person X ripped off the idea from person Y (since no one knows who submitted what). Its essential to the integrity of the judging and the contest.</description>
